These terms apply when you use this site to ask for a window cleaning quote.

Who we are

Find Me A Window Cleaner is run by getSoapy Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC691724). Our registered office is Summit House, 4-5 Mitchell Street, Edinburgh, EH6 7BD. You can contact us at hello@getsoapy.com.

What we do

We pass your enquiry to one window cleaning business that covers your area, so they can contact you with a quote. You don't pay us anything. Window cleaners pay us for the enquiries they take.

We can't promise that a window cleaner will take your enquiry, or say when they'll contact you.

Window cleaners are independent

The window cleaners are independent businesses. They don't work for us, and we don't act for them.

Any agreement to clean your windows is between you and the window cleaner. You don't have to accept their quote. The price, the timing and the work itself are for you and the window cleaner to agree.

We don't check window cleaners' insurance, qualifications or reviews. Before you agree to any work, ask the window cleaner for proof of their insurance.

Using this site

Give accurate details. Only ask for a quote for a property that's yours or that you're responsible for, or with the permission of the person who is.

Don't use the site to send spam, or to submit anyone else's details without their permission.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for passing your enquiry on as these terms describe. We're not responsible for what the window cleaner does or doesn't do, including their prices, their work and how they behave.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. These terms don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

If something goes wrong

If you have a problem with a window cleaner, raise it with them first. You can also tell us at hello@getsoapy.com.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version on this page when you send an enquiry applies to that enquiry.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
